I am dedicating this portfolio to Coach Hawk. Coach Hawk is my mentor and my coach yes, but
he is so much more. I dedicate this website to coach Hawk because he not only took me in but he believed in me.

Coach Hawk is the person who guided me through my relationship with Christ.
Many coaches can teach you the sport but the reason I dedicate this to coach Hawk is because
he truly attempts to teach me about life. Coach Hawk says himself that basketball is nothing on its
own. He sacrifices the things of the world daily in his own life and This is one special thing about coach Hawk. Coach Hawk often describes himself as a players coach and this means that he puts himself in the position of the players. Coach Hawk takes this seriously and literally does our drills with us. We can feel however we want about some of the things he says about our games or our style, but we can never deny that he loves us. Coach Hawk is also a very deep thinker and I know this because I hear him praying at 1:00 in the morning, 2:00 in the morning, 3:00. The stuff coach Hawk says could blow one's mind, for example that basketball is a reflection of one's life. Or he might say something like If you get angry on the court and start pouting then what do you think will happen when you get angry in real life? Hawk talks a lot about the heart, and I can see why by watching him give everything he has to his family and on the court each and every day. Coach Hawk is a prime example of how to put worldly things on the backburner and focus on heavenly things.
